Unraveling Tech Tales

The Mass Effect universe is as fleshed out sci-fi settings as any of the big franchises from movies, TV, or literature. When Bioware had finished making one of the best Star Wars RPGs ever, a feet that could only be followed by Obsidian, they decided they wanted to make another sci-fi game, with all the deep law of Star Wars, but none of the constraints associated with taking on an existing IP. And so, Mass Effect was born. I played through Mass Effect 2 & 3 base games with no DLC when they came out on the 360 and thought they were some of the best experiences on the platform. As I personally think the 360 is one of the best consoles of all time, that puts them up there as S tier games. I tried to go back and play Mass Effect 1 and 1 could not get on with it. The shooting was awful, the companions were useless, and a lot of the level design was very poor. When I heard in 2021 that the Mass Effect trilogy was getting a re-release, where they had gone back over Mass Effect 1 to fix a lot of all the problems, and that it would come with all the DLC for all 3 games...well here we are.
