Creating the Ultimate Original Xbox

Modding for the original Xbox is a very mature scene. There is a lot you can do with the OG Xbox but I just want it to meet the same requirements as all my other mods, that being I want to make the best possible Sega Saturn. I've already got the best looking Saturn, that being native HDMI output to modern tvs, have the whole back catalogue for the system on the system (well as close as possible) and the best player experience with the least amount of fuss.

Project Stellar:

Project Stellar is an amazing all in one add-on solution for the original Xbox which overrides the bios on the console. This enables you do loads of different things, but the main thing I'm interested in is the sideloaded operating system and the ability to load games direct from the hard drive without needing the disc in the disc drive.

Xbox HD+:

The Xbox HD+ mod is a fantastic no cut mod that grabs the signal direct from the GPU, upscales it to 720p and then outputs it through HDMI.

IDE to Sata3 Adapter:

Fairly obvious really. The OG XBox hard drive used and IDE and Molex connecters...this converts them to Sata3 so you can use a modern Sata3 SSD...there's loads available on Amazon....just have a look.

2Tb SSD:

Unfortunately 2 terabytes is not quite enough for the full library as the full library is just a little over 2Tb. But, 3TB drives are pretty much non existent and I'm not paying double the price for a 4 Tb drive. I'm sure I'll survive without 7 FIFA games 8 Madden games and 19 NBA games.
